My fiance and i have decided to move to Colorado Springs this summer from Arkansas. Yes i know culture shock but it will be very welcome. Hows the job market? Ive done the Google search and already know that the unemployment rate is a little higher than the US average and all that. I am not looking for an amazing job maybe just call center work, customer service etc. I have 6 years customer service experience and 4 years cake decorating experience. Also is there anything i need to know about the trip? Moving tips packing tips anything really
we aren’t often perceived as normal…tattoos and piercings (but not extreme) and we are explicitly non christian, we live a very eclectic lifestyles. We planned on living on the west side close to Manitou Springs. We want art, nightlife, and fun alongside nature but away from inbred crackhead genetic waste. A place to eventually start a family in.
Maybe Denver is a better fit for us socially…

Regarding unemployment rate, I would not trust the numbers too much. You need to research the job market for the field you plan to work on. This would give you’re a picture closer to reality.
